LIVE FOR LILY
COMMITED TO ENDING CHILDHOOD CANCER
‘Live for Lily’ is a not-for profit foundation committed to ensuring an end to childhood cancer. Pasquale Scaturchio, General Manager of Airport Toyota and Ride To The Divide proud sponsor said ‘Live For Lily’ was especially close to his heart as Lily was an 8 year old student at his children’s school. Lily Hester was an inspiration in her fight against a rare liver cancer and still is. Sadly Lily lost her fight and passed away on the 11th of August 2014. The foundation was established to honour the little girl and raise awareness with all funds raised going directly towards research to find a cure.
CHANGING THE CYCLE OF POVERTY IN TANZANIA
POVERTY IN TANZANIA Also to benefit from the Ride to the Divide fundraising efforts will be the Ujamaa Children’s Home in Tanzania, which houses orphaned children in a safe and nurturing family environment, educating them and giving them ongoing support as they grow into adults. The goal of the Ujamaa Children’s Home is to change the cycle of poverty in Tanzania by helping the children grow into successful and self-sufficient adults.
